THE EVER CHANGING INSURANCE WORLD....... Before coming to our office, please make sure you understand a bit about your insurance. We rely on you to know if you have a copayment on specific services being sought. Last year there was some healthcare reform so you may not owe a copayment for preventative care (well child checks). You will want to know what your specific insurance coverage is. Now some insurances require a copayment on immunizations when they didn't in the past. Of course, this is all very confusing. Please help us by knowing your individual coverage and what youe insurance will require. This saves both you and our office billing hassles. It is our policy to collect some payment on all services rendered so please be prepared to present your insurance card and to make payment, unless your insurance does not require you to do so.
Your insurance company determines whether or not a copayment is required based on your plan benefits. To find out if you owe a co-pay, please call your insurance company. You can find their phone number on the back of your insurance card. Because it is impossible for our staff to know your individual insurance coverage, we will collect a co-pay at the front desk unless you have contacted your insurance company and have found that you do not owe one.
WE WANT TO HELP CHILDREN.......Each year the employees of Wasatch Pediatrics participate in charity service to support organizations that benefit children in need. If you have a favorite children's charity that you would like us to support, we welcome your suggestions. Please contact Janis at 801-453-9626.
