Doctors at Willow Creek Pediatrics in Salt Lake City
 | Dr. Ashton founded Willow Creek Pediatrics in 1978 after completing his Medical School and residency at the University of Utah. He was board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in 1977, is a member of the Intermountain Pediatric Society, as well as the AAP. He is associated with the Irish-American Pediatric Society and has traveled to Ireland for society meetings. He believes all children should have access to quality medical care and the right to a safe and secure world. Dr. Ashton keeps physically fit by biking and hiking with his daughters, and trying to keep up with his wife on the tennis courts. He loves the mountains of Utah and the diverse areas surrounding the Salt Lake Valley. |

 | In 9th grade, Dr. Jopling read a book about Albert Schweitzer which inspired him to want to be a doctor and help people in need. He grew up in Texas, and came to Utah after his medical training to ski, and joined Willow Creek Pediatrics. His special interests in medicine are encouraging a healthy lifestyle for the entire family, and pediatric sports medicine. He has worked with the Utah Governor's Council on Health and Physical Fitness. He has worked as team doctor of various high school teams and has counseled with teams on health in athletics. He has done extensive teaching, writing, and research in sports medicine, fitness and nutrition.
Dr. Jopling has a son, Jeffrey, a daughter, Jennifer, and a chocolate lab, Mocha. He and his wife, Marty, have been very involved in their children's education and activities. Dr. Jopling approaches his practice of medicine as an advocate for the child and the family, and is a true friend to parents trying their best to raise their children. |

 | Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Lynch misses the ocean, but finds the mountains of Utah terrific. He loves to ski, hike, and participate in water sports. He is also a fan of the Utah Jazz and all Boston sports teams. Dr. Lynch joined Willow Creek Pediatrics in 1998 after completing three years of public health serice in Colorado, and his medical education at Tufts University in Boston. His family consists of wife Joann, who is a physician assistant with an emergency medicine group, and two great dogs, both Pointers named Bonnie and Sophie. They also recently hosted an exchange student from Thailand for his sophomore year in high school. Dr. Lynch has had three international health experiences, the first to China and two subsequent occasions to Papua, New Guinea. Dr. Lynch is a wonderful teacher and is generous with his time and medical expertise. The Fourth Street Clinic (a clinic for the homeless) benefits from his volunteer service.
Dr. Lynch enjoys travel and photography. He is very organized. He taught the pediatrics course for the Utah Physician Assistant program for the past 2 years. He is also a member of the Utah Scientific Vaccine Advisory Committee. |

 | Dr. Memmott grew up in Utah, and attended the University of Utah, where he met his wife, Stephanie. He attended medical school in St. Louis, and residency in Portland, Oregon. He then served in the National Health Service as the only Pediatrician for the Vernal area in north-eastern Utah. After completing four years with the National Health Service, Dr. Memmott moved back to Salt Lake to join Willow Creek Pediatrics.
Dr. Memmott has three children. He spends his spare time skiing, mountain biking, and coaching little league baseball, basketball, and soccer. |

 | Dr. Kathy O'Mara joined Wasatch Pediatrics April 1, 2001. Kathy grew up in Philadelphia Pennsylvania with 3 younger brothers. She always knew she would be a doctor or a veterinarian. She attended medical school at Temple University in Philly.
Moving to Utah in 1996 gave her a place to do the things she enjoys doing. She loves to go skiing, biking, camping, and hiking; but loves skiing the most.
Kathy and her husband Doug have 2 adopted boys, Elias and Donovan. They are adorable and add to her enjoyment as she watches other families grow.
Dr. O'Mara loves pediatrics and is a real asset to the Willow Creek office. |

 | Dr. Shellie Ring joined our Willow Creek office in August 2001. She came to us after a year in private practice in Minnesota. Though she is a Mid-west girl, the lure of the mountains initially brought her here for residency and then called her back to Utah from Minnesota. Her Medical Degree is from Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed her residency here in Salt Lake at the University of Utah / Primary Children's Medical Center.
She is married to Erik Ring and together they enjoy camping, hiking, and skiing. Shellie also enjoys reading mysteries and listening to music.
Dr. Ring is a wonderful asset to Wasatch. Her cheerful attitude and caring manner make her a favorite with the staff and patients. |

 | Dr. Chamberlain received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University. She attended medical school at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. Her residency was completed at the University of Utah. She is board certified in Pediatrics. Michelle's husband, Jim, is an internal medicine Physician at the Utah Diabetes Center. They have two children, Luke and Mia. Michelle's favorite hobbies include running, hiking, biking, and skiing. Dr. Chamberlain enjoys caring for children of all ages and finds the most rewarding aspect of being a pediatrician to be the relationships she develops with the patients and their families as the children grow and develop. |
