Corinne Espinoza received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Brigham Young University where she focused on working with children, adolescents, and families. She went on to complete her internship at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children's Hospital and her postdoctoral fellowship at Primary Children's Hospital in Pediatric Psychology. Dr. Ruth uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to treat a wide range of mental health conditions. She has specialized training and expertise in conducting therapy with youth with medical illnesses and physical symptoms, focusing on supporting functional gains and improving disease management, and has published research in this area. She also has extensive experience in conducting psychological assessments to clarify questions related to the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive, academic, emotional, developmental, and neuropsychological concerns. Dr. Ruth speaks Spanish and is originally from California, but has loved living in Utah with her family. Outside of work, she can often be found hiking, traveling, skiing, walking her dog, or reading a good book.
