Georgia joined Wasatch Pediatrics in 2021 and brings over 10 years of experience in psychiatry.  She specializes in psychiatric medication management as well as diagnoses and treatment planning.  Georgia treats children & adolescents for all mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, phobias, OCD, ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, sleep issues, eating disorders, bipolar disorders, substance use, suicidal/self-harm thoughts, hallucinations, trauma and medical complexity.  Georgia adores the kids, teens, and families she has the opportunity to work with and strives to do her best to help improve their quality of life.

Previously, Georgia spent six years working at Primary Children’s at Wasatch Canyons, where she primarily managed mental health care in an outpatient setting.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Westminster College and her master’s degree in Family Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHMP) from the University of Utah.  Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner and working in mental health, she worked for years as a CNA and RN at the University of Utah Hospital.  She considers her years in the Burn Trauma ICU, and service mission as a volunteer nurse aboard the USNS Mercy to Southeast Asia, to be career and character-building highlights.

Georgia and her husband are the proud parents of three boys, including a set of identical twins. She loves people, yoga, being outside, and shopping.
