Immunization
Awareness Month

August is Immunization Awareness Month!  Immunizations are essential in protecting and preserving our public health.  Here are a few facts about immunizations:

•  Your child  can still receive routine immunizations if they have a cold or fever.

•  An immunization series never has to be started over if you miss a dose.

•  The influenza vaccine does not give you the flu.

•  It is common to get a low grade fever after receiving immunizations.
